Location

Hidden away in the forest among Pine trees and Acacias, the Posasa Buscavida is located in Oceania del Polonio, Departamento de Rocha  Driving eastwards following the coastline, Oceania del Polonio is accessed via Ruta 10 and turning right at km 256.

Once inside Oceania del Polonio, the boutique hotel Buscavida can be found by following street signs that mark the path through twisting sandy roads, which are lined by Acacia and Pine trees. The Posada is located where the forest meets the dunes.

Directions

The easiest route to get there by car from Montevideo is through the Interbalneal Route to Route 9, taking Route 15 at kilometer 209 (entrance to La Paloma). Continue on Route 15 (to the right) to the junction with Route 10, continue on Route 10 to km 256. Turn right to enter Oceania del Polonio. You will see a cell tower on your right. Follow the signs for Posada Buscavida.

To get there by bus from Montevideo take one of the Cynsa / Nuñez lines (telephone +598 24025363), COT (+598 24094949) and Rutas del Sol (+598 24025451), which depart from the Tres Cruces Terminal.
