Located on the coast of Rocha behind the dunes, Posada Buscavida was built in a place of great beauty, in a flat wild meadow protected by a belt of native forest and a hidden creek. At the foot of the coastal extension of the vast Cabo Polonio National Park about 11 km from its lighthouse.
We highly recommend beach walks along the shore, early in the fresh, bright morning and also in the evening to experience the warm glow of pink, yellow, vermilion, and orange sunsets. Daily walks in the splendor of a virgin beach in constant movement and transformation. Discover its ravines and tiny inlets and visually explore what lies beyond the dune: original coastal grasslands and wetlands. Enjoy the flight of local and migratory birds.
We also recommend the walk to the town of Cabo Polonio. Leave in the late evening under the endless starry sky and experience the magnificent transition to daylight. We promise a sunrise that will follow one after the other in front of the walker in the East. For the well-trained we even advise you to turn back; returning a couple of hours before sunset, from this direction you will experience the western horizon and the descending sun. In the summer months, the sun's path is in line with the coast of our beach. The route is 11 km and takes approximately 3 hours to complete.
